Justin Rendall - Game Studio I 405

For this project I will be focusing on an ancient roman house for enviornment and level design. I will be posting my progress on here, showing what i'm modeling, reference material I used, and problems I run into along the way.

here are some screen shots of the interior of the house. I just added the border around the red walls and the doors are not final, i'm still working them, i'm not sure as of right now what to do for them. I still have two rooms left that need to bed textured the kitchen and the spare room and still have to put more detail into the other textures . If anyone has any ideas or opinions let me know what you think. the gold trim i have around all the walls is staying and so are the base colors i'm just not sure what to add for more detail so i'm still working with them.

i just figured out how to make my floor looked polished and have a reflective surface

IF ANYONE HAS ANY SUGGESTIONS ON MODELING A GARDEN PLEASE GIVE ME SOME SUGGESTIONS, I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT

So i've run into some problems with texturing the house itself and i'm going to have to reUV the whole thing. I'm going to try and have everything textured by next weekend. That's my major goal right now. Then I will take everything into unreal and do the lighting and skybox.

Alright i've modeled a couple of interior static meshes a column, bench, and well. I've decided not to spend all my time texturing the house because i found myself spend all my time working on the textures for the house and not modeling anything else, so i'm going to work on it a little every day along with modeling.

a couple of screen shots of the outside wall texture

Here are a couple of reference images that i'm using. I'm also using the HBO series ROME as a lot of the texturing references. This is what i'm using as the layout/floorplan of the house.
